Aloevit Gets New Branding and Packaging
The makers of Aloevit, an aloe vera based fruit flavoured water, approached London based independent design consultant David Roberts to develop the product brand which launched last year with four flavours: Peach, Lemon & Lime, Orange and Mango and Black Cherry.
One of the main aspects of the brief was to set the product apart from other fruit water and give it [Aloevit] shelf presence. David explains that there seemed to be a generic design appearing in stores that relied on transparent ‘fruit splash’ labelling which, under the harse lighting of supermarket shelving became vague and indistinguishable.
The label was designed to be clear and informative yet fun and different right down to the nutritional ‘traffic light’ daily guideline.
